CONVERSATION COFFEE TABLE

After reinforcing this coffee table, I decided to take it in a different direction painting it an eye-catching red and then decoupaging some fabric to the front of the drawers for added effect.

COFFEE TABLE TO OTTOMAN

I borrowed this idea from another website. With a little help, the glass was removed and replaced with plywood. Then the entire piece was painted, a foam piece was placed on the plywood top, then covered and tufted to create an awesome ottoman!

UNEXPECTED DISCOVERY

After stripping the paint, I discovered the chair was made from what appeared to be cedar and it was beautiful. So, I stained the wood and recovered the seat with an elegant navy.

white wash fun

Classically modern with a twist of history seems to be the theme. First, I primed and painted this piece a grey color, then tried my hand at white washing over. Lastly,  I recovered the seats with a neutral tone to compliment the grey..

BEAUTIFUL CHAIR
hello

What was once a sad house is now a happy cottage. All it needed was an overhaul. Walls came down, cabinets taken out to reveal an old brick chimney. New cabinets and counters added, floors redone, and the walls painted. What a difference!
